Mikey's owner passed away and he is being taken care of by a friend, along with 3 brothers and a sister. She cannot keep all 5 of them and is hoping to find good homes for each of them. Mikey is about 3 years old, weighs 53 lbs, is up to date on his shots, has been neutered, and is heartworm positive. HE IS CURRENTLY BEING TREATED AND WILL LIVE TO BE A HEALTHY DOG ONCE THE TREATMENT IS COMPLETED. He just needs an owner who will make sure that the course of treatment is continued. He is a friendly boy who gets along with small dogs, and loves to play with his tennis balls. He does not like cats or big dogs. Mikey comes when called and goes into his crate on command. He has also been microchipped, which would need to be updated once he is adopted.
