Louie is a 3 1/2 year old German Shephard mix who was adopted 3 years ago as a scared and abused puppy. He has come a long way but the family he is with feels that he would be happier with a different lifestyle. He loves to be outside and currently spends most of his time indoors in their condo. He hides a lot and will not interact with their other dog. He does like to snuggle at night after the other dog has gone to sleep. When he is outside, he is a happy dog who loves to run, take long walks and play with other dogs. His family feels that he would be better suited to an outdoor lifestyle. Louie knows sit, stay and shake. He is friendly, playful and calm but also timid. He is afraid of roller blades, bicycles, skateboards, and busy roads. He is not at all aggressive. Louie needs to have a spot of his own where he can hide when he's indoors. He gets along with men, women and dogs. He has never been around cats so they are not sure how he would handle one.
